Harley-Davidson Declares March As National Garage Party Month

MILWAUKEE (December 7, 2009)Harley-Davidson has announced plans for a National Garage Party Month, where dealerships across the country will host Garage Party events during March 2010. Harley-Davidson Garage Party events provide a fun, social environment for women to learn about the sport of motorcycling, as well as meet other women who are interested in riding. Dealers host the events year-round, but the motor company has declared March as a special focus to bring national awareness to the events, which have encouraged thousands of women to learn to ride. Harley -Davidson Forty-Eight Hits The Streets
This new bike features a beefy 16 inch front tire, mirrors that hang below the handlebars and a 2.1 gallon peanut style gas tank. Harley put the 1st peanut style gas tank on a 1948 edition motorcycle hence the name Harley-Davidson Forty Eight. Harley-Davidson rolls out India motorcycle lineup
Harley-Davidson Inc. announced Tuesday, 01/05/10, that it will make 12 motorcycles from it's 2010 model portfolio available for sale in India. The selection will include motorcycles from each of Harley-Davidson's five model families: Sportster, Dyna, VRSC, Softail and Touring. For over a century Harley-Davidson has inspired motorcyclists across the world to celebrate their passion for riding. Bookings will begin in April and deliveries will begin in June, after years of trying to seek entry into the world's second largest motorcycle market. MORE >>
Motorcycle groups deliver Christmas to needy families.
Maria Salinas tried to blink away tears as more than 50 Harley-Davidson motorcycles rumbled up to her driveway in east Salinas. The bikers dressed in black leather and heavy denim some wearing Santa hats carrying Christmas with them. Members of Thunder Riders motorcycle club and Monterey Bay chapter of the Harley owners group helped bring an early Christmas to needy families in Salinas. Delivering Trees,decorations groceries and presents. Daisy Jimenez age 7 laughed as bikers tried to bury her in a pile of presents. The riding community does some really amazing things throughout the holiday season. "I see this as a God-given light for people to see," Said Salinas. Robbie Knievel to jump 16 buses on Harley-Davidson XR-750
Motorcycle daredevil Robbie Knievel will attempt to jump 16 double decker buses in London on a Harley Davidson XR-750 on May 22nd at Wembley Stadium. The son of the legendary Evel Knievel will attempt a jump similar to the one that almost ended his father's career.The XR-750 presents new challenges because of it's heavier weight and handling.
